Investec Bank plc, a leading international financial services provider, has announced that its aviation business and funds managed by AB CarVal have launched a new commercial aviation financing platform offering innovative capital solutions to airlines and aviation leasing companies.
The platform is expected to build a diversified portfolio of secured, asset-backed loans, supporting fleet funding, liquidity and broader financing needs across the global aviation sector. AB CarVal has a long track record of investing across asset-based finance and aviation-related opportunities, and the new platform expands its ability to deploy capital into aviation lending at scale.
Investec will serve as the exclusive originator and loan servicer for the platform and will co-invest in transactions alongside AB CarVal-managed funds, aligning interests across origination, structuring, execution and ongoing portfolio management.
