Back by popular demand, Diamond Aircraft is proud to announce the return of the iconic DA20i Katana to its European production line in Wiener Neustadt, Austria. Responding to a surge in demand from flight schools, flying clubs, and private owners, Diamond Aircraft is resuming production of the two-seater, single-engine piston aircraft—long celebrated for its performance, reliability, and training value.
The European-built DA20i Katana will feature a Rotax 912 iSc3 Sport engine, offering modern efficiency and performance. In a major upgrade from earlier models, the aircraft will also be equipped with the Garmin G500TXi glass cockpit, bringing advanced avionics and a touchscreen interface to the flight deck.
