Airlink has confirmed that its daily Johannesburg–Maseru flights will resume on Friday, 7 November 2025, following the restoration of compliant fire and rescue capability at Moshoeshoe I International Airport in Lesotho.
The suspension, which lasted one day, was caused by unserviceable airport fire engines that temporarily placed the facility out of compliance with safety requirements. Lesotho authorities have now sourced suitable replacement equipment, allowing operations to restart.
Airlink expressed regret for the disruption and reaffirmed that passenger and crew safety remain its top priority.
The airline operates three daily return services on the route, with departures from Johannesburg at 06:25, 09:45, and 15:00, and corresponding return flights from Maseru at 07:55, 11:15, and 16:25.
Customers affected by the suspension can manage bookings or request refunds via flyairlink.com or by contacting +27 11 451 7300.
