Kanka-Malik Natchaba Appointed Managing Director of SALT

Kanka-Malik Natchaba has been appointed Managing Director of Lomé-Tokoin Airport Company (SALT), following a Board decision on 9 January 2026.

Kanka-Malik Natchaba has been appointed Managing Director of the Lomé-Tokoin Airport Company (SALT), following a decision by the company’s Board of Directors on 9 January 2026.

The formal handover took place on 14 January 2026, with Brigadier General Allahare Dimini stepping down after three years in the role. During his tenure, Dimini oversaw a number of infrastructure modernisation initiatives and operational improvements, with a focus on safety, security and platform readiness for future growth.

In his first remarks as Managing Director, Natchaba committed to consolidating ongoing initiatives and maintaining continuity in SALT’s development strategy.

SALT is responsible for the operation, development and expansion of Gnassingbé Eyadéma International Airport in Lomé.
