Embraer’s KC-390 Millennium continues to assert itself as one of the most capable and modern aircraft in its class. Designed and built in the 21st century, the KC-390 is a medium airlifter and tanker offering high performance, multi-mission capability, and low operational costs.
The KC-390 Millennium was recently showcased at the 47th edition of the Aerial Refuelling Systems Advisory Group (ARSAG) conference, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. A Brazilian Air Force-operated KC-390 was displayed at the Atlantic Aviation FBO at Harry Reid International Airport.
The KC-390 stands out as a multi-mission jet by design. With built-in interoperability and operational flexibility, it is ready for all mission profiles from delivery to air forces. Its ability to perform aerial refuelling and support agile combat employment makes it suitable for the most demanding scenarios.
Currently in production and operating at Full Operational Capability, the KC-390 is an off-the-shelf platform available to meet the needs of U.S. and global markets. Its availability and readiness provide an affordable solution for air forces facing emerging threats.
Embraer’s KC-390 is already in operation with Brazil, Portugal, and Hungary. It has been ordered by the Netherlands, Austria, and the Czech Republic, while Sweden and Slovakia have recently selected the aircraft. South Korea joins the growing list of countries that have opted for the KC-390 to modernise their airlift and refuelling fleets.
With strong uptake among NATO members and allied nations, the KC-390 Millennium is contributing to the modernisation of defence capabilities while enhancing global interoperability.
