KlasJet, a private and corporate jet charter company within the Avia Solutions Group, has entered into an ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) agreement with Air Cairo to operate seasonal charter flights between Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Under the agreement, KlasJet is operating flights from Milan, Italy, and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, to Cairo, Egypt. The contract commenced on 30 May 2025 and will continue through to 31 October.

Air Cairo, established in 2003 and partly owned by Egypt’s national carrier EgyptAir, operates a fleet of over 30 aircraft, predominantly Airbus A320s. The airline specialises in charter flights from Europe to Egypt’s key holiday destinations.
KlasJet has become the first ACMI provider based in an EASA-regulated country to work with Air Cairo. The company executed a rapid three-day turnaround from finalising the agreement to operating the initial ferry flight to Cairo, demonstrating agility in aligning with operational and regulatory requirements.
The collaboration responds to a growing demand in Egypt’s tourism sector, a critical contributor to the national economy. Between July and September of the previous year, the country generated USD 4.8 billion in tourism revenue, underscoring the importance of accessible, reliable air travel connections.
Through this partnership, KlasJet and Air Cairo are enhancing connectivity between Europe, the Middle East, and Egypt, while supporting the infrastructure required to accommodate increased tourism demand during the busy summer season.
