The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has unveiled its first Integrated Service Charter, a milestone designed to improve transparency, accountability, and service delivery in the aviation sector.
The launch took place on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, at the Dambazau Conference Centre, Bill Clinton Drive, Abuja.
Speaking at the launch on behalf of the DGCA, Captain Don Spiff, Director of Operations, Licensing & Training, described it as a public covenant that places passengers, airlines, and service providers at the heart of aviation regulation. He noted that it also supports NCAA’s pursuit of ISO 9001:2015 certification in line with the Federal Government’s Ease of Doing Business agenda.
General Manager, Servicom, who is also the Nodal Officer, Mr Jok Shok, highlighted NCAA’s turnaround from a poor 17% SERVICOM score in 2022 to 75%, winning three SERVICOM awards in 2023. The event was attended by NCAA Directors, as well as representatives of NIMET, NAMA, NDIC, CBN, NIS, Customs, aviation unions, and the private sector, who all commended the Authority’s progressive vision.
