Vrgineers is delighted to have been selected to participate in the industrial cooperation project for the Czech Republic, under the Industrial Cooperation Agreement (ICA) related to the Czech Republic’s acquisition of Lockheed Martin’s F-35 Lightning II aircraft.
This is not the first time these two companies have collaborated, as the partnership between Vrgineers and Lockheed Martin began many years ago when Lockheed Martin was among the first companies in the defence sector to test Vrgineers’ next-generation virtual and mixed reality headsets for professional pilot training. Since then, Vrgineers has fully integrated its technologies with Lockheed Martin’s simulation software. This latest cooperation agreement reflects the mutual respect and shared commitment to progress and innovation between the two organisations.
As part of the industrial cooperation with Lockheed Martin, Vrgineers—alongside ten other participants, including various companies and universities—will receive funding to develop or manufacture a range of components, systems and equipment. This initiative will support the advancement of Czech industry and military technology, as the Czech Air Force transitions to a fifth-generation fighter capability.
