Minister of Transport and Logistics, Hon. Museba Frank Tayali, MP, has announced the dissolution of the Zambia Airports Corporation Limited (ZACL) Board of Directors, effective immediately.
The dissolution is a key step in ensuring that the governance of ZACL is fully aligned with the government’s strategic objectives for the transport and logistics sector and, in particular, the aviation subsector.
Hon. Tayali stated, “We are in a new era of transport infrastructure development, and it is imperative that all our institutions are guided by a board that can fully support and execute the government’s vision. We appreciate the past service of the outgoing directors and wish them success in their future endeavours. The process to reconstitute the board is already underway, and we expect to announce the new members in due course.”
