A significant milestone was reached at the recently held Board of Airline Representatives of South Africa (BARSA) Summit 2025, where BARSA and the Commercial Aviation Association of Southern Africa (CAASA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening collaboration between commercial and general aviation.

This agreement ushers in a new era of cooperation, focusing on shared projects that prioritise safety, efficiency, innovation, and sustainability within the aviation sector. Through this partnership, both organisations aim to foster a more integrated and forward-thinking industry.
