Emirates and Air Seychelles have established a new codeshare partnership to provide seamless connections for Emirates customers travelling on Air Seychelles-operated flights from Mahé to Praslin Island.
Through this agreement, Emirates will place its code on flights between Mahé and Praslin Island, allowing customers to benefit from convenient island-to-island connectivity. The arrangement enables hassle-free booking on a single ticket, competitive fares, and a unified baggage policy with luggage checked through to Praslin.
The partnership supports Emirates’ existing services between Dubai and Mahé, and further enhances the airline’s reach within the Seychelles. Air Seychelles reinforces its commitment to improving travel access across the islands and to international travellers.
Currently, Emirates operates 14 flights per week between Dubai and Mahé, with most passengers originating from France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
This development is part of Emirates’ broader global expansion strategy. The airline now maintains 164 commercial cooperation agreements—including interline, codeshare, and intermodal partnerships—extending its network to nearly 1,800 cities worldwide. Over the past year, 11 new partnerships have been introduced.
