Linhas Aéreas de Moçambique, SA (LAM), Mozambique’s national carrier, has issued a public tender inviting bids for the short-term wet lease of five aircraft. The tender, registered as MZ-LAM-B-P009-CP-2025, forms part of the airline’s ongoing investment plan aimed at meeting rising passenger and cargo transport demand within the country and the wider region.

Founded in 1980, LAM continues to play a central role in Mozambique’s air transport development. The airline anticipates continued growth in aviation services, driven by emerging opportunities in the energy and tourism sectors, and seeks to expand its fleet to improve efficiency and enhance the passenger experience.
