The South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) recently announced the appointment of a new Board by the Minister of Transport, Ms Barbara Creecy, in terms of the Civil Aviation Act. The newly appointed Board assumed office with effect from 1 March 2026, ensuring that the SACAA continues to fulfil its mandate of regulating and overseeing civil aviation safety and security in South Africa.
The Board comprises the following members:

- Mr Tshepo Peege
- Ms Zanele Nkosi
- Ms Lindiwe Mamashela
- Ms Tshitshi Phewa
