A media statement issued by ATNS – Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) SOC Limited has acknowledged the serious nature of the allegations made in an article published on page 9 of the Sunday World newspaper, dated 23 February 2025, under the heading, “ATNS air traffic management boss accused of sexual harassment.”
The media report has not only caused irreparable damage to the ATNS brand but has also adversely affected the concerned parties.
We wish to place on record that the company received a complaint of sexual harassment from a female employee against a male senior manager prior to the publication of the article.
Upon receiving the complaint, swift action was taken in accordance with the processes outlined in the applicable internal policies, including instituting an investigation.
We are working closely with the affected employee to address these serious allegations.
In addition to the investigation, anyone who has experienced sexual harassment or any form of harassment, including but not limited to victimisation and bullying, or those who are aware of ATNS employees facing similar situations, are encouraged to report these incidents to our whistleblowing hotline, 080 022 2335.
We assure all affected individuals that their complaints will be handled with the utmost sensitivity and confidentiality.
ATNS management is committed to upholding the spirit and letter of the law and will take decisive action against anyone who attempts to retaliate against a reported case.
We wish to reiterate that ATNS has a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment and any form of harassment within the company.
