43 Air School (Pty) Ltd, a globally recognised leader in aviation airline training, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with TAAG Angola Airlines, the national carrier of Angola.

43 Air School (Pty) Ltd, a globally recognised leader in aviation airline training, is proud to announce a landmark partnership with TAAG Angola Airlines, the national carrier of Angola. Under this comprehensive training agreement, approximately 100 TAAG students annually will undergo a bespoke training programme at 43 Air School’s state-of-the-art facilities in Port Alfred and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), South Africa.

This tailored programme, designed specifically to meet TAAG’s growing operational demands, will cover the full spectrum of pilot training—from ab initio (beginner) level through to advanced type rating certification. The initiative ensures that TAAG’s aircrews emerge fully prepared and line-ready, equipped with the skills and expertise required to support the airline’s expanding fleet and network.

“We are thrilled to partner with TAAG Angola Airlines in this significant training endeavour,” said Attie Niemann, CEO of 43 Air School.

“This agreement underscores our commitment to delivering world-class aviation training that aligns with the specific needs of our airline partners. By combining our cutting-edge facilities, experience in instruction, and customised curriculum, we aim to empower TAAG’s next generation of pilots to excel in the skies.”

The training will leverage 43 Air School’s and its Airline division PTC Aviation’s advanced resources, including modern airline simulators, a diverse training fleet, and a proven track record of producing highly skilled aviation professionals. This collaboration marks a key milestone in strengthening ties between South Africa and Angola within the aviation sector, while supporting TAAG’s ambitions to enhance its operational capacity and service excellence.

“We are excited to entrust 43 Air School with the development of our future aircrews,” said Juri M Neto, Operations Executive of TAAG Angola Airlines. “This bespoke programme ensures our pilots receive top-tier training tailored to our fleet and operational requirements, positioning TAAG for continued growth and success in the region and beyond.”

Training for the first group of TAAG students has started at 43 Air School, and other more advanced intakes have already undergone some training at 43’s PTC Aviation. This training agreement with 43 Air School is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Angola’s aviation industry.
