Air Botswana has invited proposals from specialist aviation auctioneers to manage the disposal of an ATR 42-500 aircraft, manufacturer serial number 507, and associated inventory.
The aircraft is located in the airline’s hangar at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport in Gaborone. The disposal package includes the airframe, installed systems and avionics suite, but excludes the engines and propellers. Associated serviceable and unserviceable ATA-specific inventory is also included.
The open international tender, reference AB/293/2026, will be evaluated using the Quality and Cost Based Selection method. Detailed information about the aircraft and inventory will be provided only after bidders have signed a non-disclosure agreement and paid the non-refundable tender fee of BWP1,000 for local bidders or USD$100 for foreign bidders.
