Moholola joined ATNS in July 2011 as senior finance manager and held that post for six years before his promotion to chief financial officer in October 2017. He was previously a director at the National Treasury, chief accountant at Johnson Diversey and head office accountant at Maxiprest Tyres. His qualifications are an MBA from Georgetown University, a Master of Commerce in Taxation from the University of Pretoria, a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Venda.

Board chairperson Zola Majavu said the confirmation gives ATNS leadership stability and continuity and will support the company in strengthening its partnerships across the aviation sector. He said Moholola had shown commitment, resilience and a clear appreciation of the challenges facing the organisation, and that the board is confident he can lead ATNS through a phase of stabilisation and renewal. Majavu added that the appointment will allow Moholola to move on stabilising his executive management team and filling key leadership positions that have been occupied in an acting capacity for some time.
