EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering announced an expanded agreement with Boeing at the 2026 El Alamein International Airshow on 9 September to deploy Boeing Airplane Health Management (AHM) across Egyptair’s growing 737 MAX fleet.
The agreement was signed by EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering Chairman and CEO Eng. Mohamed Samy and Boeing Global Services Regional Managing Director of Sales for the Middle East and Africa, Dave McKenna, in the presence of Egyptair Holding Chairman and CEO Capt. Ahmed Adel.
The integration of AHM will provide continuous, real-time visibility into aircraft condition and predictive information intended to reduce unscheduled delays, improve parts planning and streamline maintenance, repair and overhaul processes.
The deployment extends Egyptair’s existing use of AHM across its Boeing 787 and 777 fleets as the airline expands its 737-8 fleet to a total of 18 aircraft.
Adel said the expanded partnership with Boeing would introduce additional digital solutions to support safety, reliability and operational efficiency across Egyptair’s fleet.
Boeing Digital Services Senior Director Crystal Remfert said Boeing would support Egyptair’s fleet growth and work with its MRO teams as the technology is deployed.
Samy said the diagnostic capabilities provided by AHM would help technicians reduce aircraft downtime and support the performance of Egyptair’s fleet and aircraft operated by commercial airline customers supported by EgyptAir Maintenance & Engineering.
