Air Botswana has issued a notice of intention to directly appoint ACC Aviation ME FZCO as an aircraft lease consultant, citing the specialised and limited expertise available in ACMI aircraft leasing.

The national carrier said the requirement is intended to support increased aircraft utilisation and generate an additional revenue stream for the airline.

According to the notice, published on 21 August 2026, the proposed appointment will be made through a direct procurement process under PPRA Regulation 20(1). The requirement is classified as a service, with Dubai-based ACC Aviation ME FZCO identified as the approved supplier for the intended award.

The notice was approved by Air Botswana General Manager Dr Bao R. Mosinyi.
