Nigeria’s Caliphate Air has selected AMROS Group’s LISA Aircraft Records Management platform as its digital aircraft records management system as the airline prepares to launch operations with three Embraer ERJ145 aircraft.
The software will be provided under a Software-as-a-Service model and will include a custom API integration with AMOS maintenance and engineering software. According to AMROS Group, the integration is intended to keep Caliphate Air’s aircraft archive current and maintain records in a state suitable for aircraft redelivery requirements.
Caliphate Air is backed by Sokoto State and was established to support regional air connectivity and demand for air transport services in Nigeria and the wider African market. The airline plans to begin operations with its three-aircraft ERJ145 fleet.
The carrier said its adoption of LISA formed part of the development of its digital infrastructure and would support the management of its operations as it builds the airline.
AMROS Group CEO Giuseppe Renga said digital aircraft records management provided an operational foundation that airlines could establish before growth made it essential. He also noted that the Caliphate Air implementation extends LISA’s presence into the African market.
Developed by AMROS Innovations, LISA is an AI-powered aircraft records management platform designed for airlines, lessors and maintenance, repair and overhaul organisations. The system provides centralised digital aircraft records management, real-time data access and lifecycle records visibility, while integrating with existing operational systems.
AMROS Group said the platform is intended to support aircraft records management throughout the aircraft lifecycle, including compliance requirements and asset management.
