The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) has invited international bids for the supply of 10 flight training aircraft for the Centre of Excellence in Aviation Skills (CEAS) at Kigali International Airport.

The procurement forms part of the Center of Excellence for Aviation Skills Project, for which RDB has received financing from the African Development Bank and OPEC funding. Part of the financing is to be applied to payments under the aircraft supply contract.

Bidding is being conducted through Open Competitive Bidding International under the African Development Bank’s Procurement Policy for Bank Group Funded Operations. The competition is open to eligible bidders as defined by the Bank’s Procurement Framework.

RDB has not specified the aircraft types or configuration in the procurement notice, beyond stating that the contract covers the supply of 10 flight training aircraft for CEAS at Kigali International Airport.
