Hartzell Propeller, a Signia Aerospace company, has expanded the supplemental type certificate (STC) approval on its new Navigator carbon fibre propeller series for thousands more Beechcraft Bonanzas. With the latest in carbon fibre performance, ramp appeal, and proven Hartzell engineering quality and support, the next upgrade for Bonanza owners is clear.
The three-blade prop offers carbon fibre lightweight blade technology, which results in a measurable increase in overall performance along with a decrease in weight. The carbon fibre blades reduce airframe vibration, which results in a smoother flight and less pilot and passenger fatigue upon arrival at your destination.
Covered by the industry-leading Top Prop Warranty through the first overhaul, the Navigator prop extends the peace of mind for Bonanza owners on more versions: Hartzell will now be offering the Navigator on all Beechcraft Bonanzas with the IO-550-B engine and the A36TC with the TSIO-520-U(B) engine (not applicable to models with a Continental IO-520-BA engine). Early Bonanzas converted to a D’Shannon or GAMI IO-550-B engine are covered under the amended STC.

The complete STC kit includes an 80-inch diameter, three-blade carbon fibre propeller with polished spinner and all associated documentation. Total weight of the prop and spinner is 63 pounds, which translates up to a net 7 pound reduction in weight, depending upon the model aeroplane and prior propeller and spinner assembly it replaces.
