Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Lists Air Services Licence Applications for June 2026 Hearing

The Uganda Civil Aviation Authority has issued a notice of application for air services licences, listing companies that have applied for the grant or renewal of air services licences.

The applications cover domestic, international, scheduled and non-scheduled passenger and cargo services, as well as aerial work and private operations.

The applicants will defend their applications before the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority Licensing Committee on 12 June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Protea Hotel, Kampala.

New Air Services Licence Applications

Cubic Air SMC Limited, trading as Cubic Air Uganda, has applied for a new domestic non-scheduled passenger air services licence. The company, based in Entebbe, intends to operate C172 aircraft.

Misk Air Limited, also based in Entebbe, has applied for a new domestic and international scheduled passenger and cargo licence. The aircraft listed for operation are the C208B, PA31 and B1900D.

Flight Training Centre, based in Kisubi, has applied for a new domestic and international non-scheduled passenger and aerial work licence, with C172 aircraft listed for operation.

Premier Airlines Limited, based at Park Royal, Ground Floor, Buganda Road, Kampala, has applied for a new international scheduled and non-scheduled passenger and cargo licence. The aircraft listed are the CRJ 100, F100 and F70.

Ubuntu Air Limited, based in Entebbe, has applied for a new international scheduled and non-scheduled passenger licence. The aircraft listed for operation is the B737-400.

Asante Aviation Limited, based in Kampala, has applied for a new domestic scheduled passenger licence, with C208 aircraft listed for operation.

Mungufeni Aviation Uganda Limited, based in Kampala, has applied for a new domestic and international non-scheduled passenger licence. The aircraft listed for operation is the PA28.

Arasus Aviation Limited, based in Entebbe, has applied for a new international scheduled and non-scheduled passenger and cargo licence. The aircraft listed are the PA28 and C208.

Air Serv Limited, based in Kampala, has applied for a new domestic and international passenger licence, with C208 aircraft listed for operation.

Renewal Applications

Kampala Executive Aviation has applied for a new domestic and international non-scheduled cargo licence, and for renewal of its domestic and international non-scheduled passenger licence. The aircraft listed include C208B, B1900D, C210, C206 and C172.

Transafrik Uganda Limited, based in Entebbe, has applied for renewal of its international non-scheduled cargo licence, with L382 aircraft listed for operation.

Grand Air Services Limited, based in Kampala, has applied for renewal of its international private licence. The aircraft listed are the C208B and PC12.

Eagle Air Limited, based in Kampala, has applied for renewal of its international scheduled and non-scheduled passenger and cargo licence. The aircraft listed are the L410, C206 and C208B.

AIM Air, based in Arua, has applied for renewal of its domestic and international non-scheduled passenger licence, with C206 and C208 aircraft listed for operation.
