Deutsche Aircraft’s D328eco® Designed for Africa’s Regional Routes

On the sidelines of the 57th Annual General Assembly of the African Airlines Association (AFRAA), held late last year, Reinhard Schwaiger, Sales Director at Deutsche Aircraft, shared insights into the D328eco 40-seat turboprop, which has been sized and configured specifically with African regional route requirements in mind.

Derived from the Dornier 328, the D328eco is a new aircraft design engineered for operations in extreme temperatures, high-elevation airports, and hot-and-high conditions.

Designed for short and demanding runways, the D328eco is intended to operate into semi-prepared and bush airfields, including tourism-focused destinations across East Africa and comparable regions.

Watch the full interview for more details on the aircraft’s technical configuration and operational capabilities.
