This week, AERO South Africa returns to Lanseria International Airport from 10 to 12 June 2026, bringing together the general aviation community for the sixth edition of the event.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt South Africa in partnership with Fairnamic GmbH, AERO South Africa has become Southern Africa’s general aviation trade show, with a focus on connecting the aviation value chain in one environment.

The 2026 edition will include an expanded programme covering business connections, emerging technologies, operational excellence and the continued growth of the African aviation sector.
Louise Olckers, Show Director of AERO South Africa, said this year’s event has been designed to support meaningful business engagement while showcasing new technologies and promoting operational excellence across the sector.
The exhibition will bring together aircraft manufacturers, avionics suppliers, maintenance organisations, training institutions, finance providers, insurers, airports, aviation technology companies and service providers involved in aircraft ownership and operation.

Static aircraft displays, drone demonstration flights, product launches and interactive symposiums will form part of the visitor programme, with content focused on general aviation, business aviation and aviation services.
Pratt & Whitney Canada will use AERO South Africa 2026 to host its first Customer Connect event in South Africa. The session is aimed at operators, owners, maintenance organisations and aviation stakeholders, with access to the company’s leadership and technical specialists forming part of the programme. The engagement will focus on product developments, service support initiatives and future technologies, with discussions aimed at strengthening relationships across the region’s aviation community.
The 2026 programme will include the Safety Symposium powered by PilotInsure, with a focus on practical safety issues in the Southern African operating environment. The session is aimed at pilots, operators, aviation professionals and safety advocates.
The symposium will include expert presentations, interactive discussions and collaborative engagement, with the aim of strengthening safety awareness and supporting a stronger safety culture across the aviation community.
The Business Matchmaking Programme will return as part of AERO South Africa 2026, providing a structured platform for exhibitors, buyers, operators, investors and decision-makers to meet around potential partnerships and business opportunities.

The Speakers Theatre will provide a further platform for aviation experts, exhibitors and thought leaders to address topics including aviation technology, operational efficiency, training, maintenance, regulatory developments, safety, innovation and future opportunities in the Southern African aviation market.
AERO South Africa 2026 will take place with 66 confirmed exhibitors, including 11 international exhibitors, and will reflect the diversity of the continent’s aviation ecosystem across general aviation, business aviation and aviation services.
