Airlink has announced that it will add more flights on its Johannesburg–Ndola service from late March 2026, providing customers with a wider range of convenient connections.

The airline will augment its current daily service on the route with a second flight operating three times a week.

The additional service will see flights from Ndola arriving at O.R. Tambo International Airport during the morning. This is expected to improve productivity for business travellers visiting Gauteng and will also be conveniently timed to provide easy onward connections for passengers continuing to other Airlink destinations.

According to de Villiers Engelbrecht, the expanded fleet enables Airlink to better serve the needs of the growing number of business and leisure customers travelling on the route. Ndola is Zambia’s third-largest city and the capital of the Copperbelt, and is rapidly expanding as a major industrial, transport and logistics node for mining, manufacturing and trade in the sub-region. The expanded service allows customers to connect at Airlink’s O.R. Tambo International Airport hub with its domestic and regional services, as well as long-haul flights provided by global airline partners.

From 30 March 2026, Airlink’s expanded schedule will see flights operating between Johannesburg (JNB) and Ndola (NLA) on additional days and times.
