South African Airways (SAA) will introduce its first direct service between Cape Town and Mauritius on 9 December 2025, with three weekly flights operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The route offers two departure time options, enhancing flexibility for leisure travellers. Between mid-January and mid-March 2026, services will be reduced to twice weekly to match seasonal demand. SAA’s expansion strengthens regional connectivity and supports tourism goals for both South Africa and Mauritius.
