Botswana’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has announced the appointment of Captain Thuto Toise as Chief Executive Officer designate of the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB).
Captain Toise brings more than 30 years of experience in globally regulated aviation environments, with a background spanning strategic leadership, operational management and financial oversight.
His career includes service as a captain with Etihad Airways and Ethiopian Airlines, as well as senior management roles at Air Botswana and Air Mauritius.
As CEO designate, Captain Toise is expected to provide leadership and governance to CAAB, drawing on his international and regional experience to support the continued development of Botswana’s aviation sector.
