TCAA Publishes 2026 Revised Edition of Tanzania’s Civil Aviation Regulations

Operators, training organisations, licence holders and legal advisers working to Tanzanian rules now have one consolidated text rather than a principal instrument plus successive amendments, current to 31 July 2026. The edition supersedes the revised editions listed in the Schedule to Government Notice No. 246A, so references to those editions need updating.

TCAA has issued the text in both English and Kiswahili, which matters for compliance work by operators and staff using either language. Anything amended after 31 July 2026 falls outside the consolidation and still has to be tracked separately.

The Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) has published the 2026 Revised Edition of the Civil Aviation Regulations, made under Government Notice No. 246A of 24 August 2026. The authority announced the publication on 16 September 2026.

The edition brings the principal Civil Aviation Regulations together with all amendments made up to and including 31 July 2026 in a single consolidated text, and supersedes the earlier revised editions listed in the Schedule to the Government Notice. The authority directs aviation industry stakeholders and the general public to use it as the current reference.
